The Creative Design Group

The Creative Design Group (CDG)  has the job of working out design concepts and various levels of construction documents for all Al Turner Company projects. This includes sketches, artwork, computer modeling, graphics, drafting, and the like. Additionally, the CDG also is responsible for the planning, scheduling  budgeting, and value engineering that goes into a given project.

The Chief of Design (COD) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the CDG. Working closely with the Chief of Operations, the two positions also are responsible for the production divisions.

Some of the types of positions that the CDG employ are:

Background Artists
Concept Artists
Writers
Hand / CAD Drafting
Computer Modeling
Graphic Designers
Interior Designers
Mechanical Engineers
Electrical Engineers
Structural Engineers
Schedulers
Planners
Game Designers
Industrial Designers

It is important to note that everyone at The Al Turner Company has a major job and a minor job. For example, a concept artist (major position) might also have the task of updating parts of this web site (minor position), or a scheduler (major position) might have the task of updating some of the file systems (minor). This method has worked well and allows for cross-training while keeping everyone integrated and knowledgeable about what we are doing.

“Our Operation philosophy…Keep it Simple and Streamlined.”
